We know that the fashion industry isn't perfect, and within that the streetwear industry isn't either, ethical problems within fashion vary, from worker’s rights issues to animal cruelty behind the scenes to the ones that are possibly more visible to us consumers such as overconsumption, a disconnect between what we buy and where it originates, the fast pace of the industry and what feels like drop after drop. We also know that as streetwear fans ourselves it's difficult to navigate and take part in a market that you know and love, whilst also being aware of ethical and sustainable choices you would like to make, which is where we hope to fill a gap for you.
So you’re armed with information on how to make better changes but where do you even start? That’s where we come along, we want to work through a streetwear market that over time flourishes and embraces with open arms the idea of being more ethical, we want to introduce you to small streetwear brands you’ve never heard of and big brands you’ve purchased from for years. Use us as a reference point the next time you want to buy a new pair of sneakers or want to ask a question about the best organic cotton pants in the community tab, We don’t only want to be a shopping aid but a community platform focused on anything and everything related to streetwear moving into a more ethical environment.
Although we are new, from our conception we have begun making connections with ethically-minded streetwear brands and individuals throughout the streetwear industry who are interested in supporting our message and connecting more people who want to make a difference, like us.
